WATCH as former Springbok assistant coach Swys de Bruin points out the disgusting tactic used by England and Harlequins prop Joe Marler.
Marler, in his team’s 28-32 Round of 16 European Cup loss to the Stormers this past weekend, Marler felt the need to grab an opponent by the scrotum – a tactic he has been banned for before.
The Stormers’ master poacher Deon Fourie was the victim of the veteran villain’s latest testicle tactics.
Fourie reacted with indignation and had to be restrained by his teammates, as Marler strolls away laughing about the incident.
In March 2020 Marler was handed a 10-week ban for grabbing Wales captain Alun Wyn Jones’ genitals during the Six Nations match between England and Wales.
Marler also made headlines late last year over comments he made to Bristol Bears flank Jack Heenan during a match at The Stoop.
His offensive remark about Heenan’s mother, who was ill, saw the Rugby Football Union issue the prop a two-match ban.
In 2016, Marler was handed a two-week ban and fined £20 000 for calling Wales tighthead prop Samson Lee “gypsy boy”.
