"He will provide further competition for places across the back three where we consistently lose players to international representation over the course of the season.

“I am delighted he has opted to join Harlequins and I know our supporters will enjoy watching this outstanding young talent.”

21-year-old Morris began his rugby career at Bedford Blues and worked through the ranks before being offered a full-time contract with Saracens’ Academy at the age of 18.

He was dual registered with the Blues and developed his trade in the Greene King IPA Championship.

Representing England Under-20 side alongside Harlequins Harry Sloan and James Chisholm, he won the Junior World Cup in 2014, before reaching the 2015 final against the Junior All Blacks.

The former Biddenham school boy can also play on the wing and is a reliable goal kicker.

Commenting on the news, Morris added: “I'm really excited for a new challenge in moving to Harlequins for next season.

"The Club have a lot of ambition and I can't wait to get the shirt on and play in front of the Harlequins supporters.”
