Bailey to wing it for Wasps
Experienced wing James Bailey has joined London Wasps from French Top 14 side Lyon ahead of the forthcoming season.
Bailey joins with solid experience in the English game under his belt; the 28-year-old previously having represented London Irish, Gloucester and Bristol.
The flyer represented England at Under-16, U18 and U21 level as well as playing for England Sevens on several occasions and he is the club's second addition from Lyon, with Lee Thomas having arrived earlier this summer.
Wasps Director of rugby Dai Young said: "We've got a lot of talent in our back-three but we have been looking to add depth to our squad out wide for some time and James arrives with solid experience at this level."
Bailey said: "I thoroughly enjoyed my time in France but I always knew that I wanted to return to the English game at some point so I jumped at the opportunity to join such a prestigious club as London Wasps. Hopefully I can play an important role in the squad and help the club achieve their goals."
Bailey is the second outside back to sign on at the club this week, following the announcement of the arrival of Italian utility back Andrea Masi.
