Can Bristol bag a win?
A first win of the Premiership season could move Bristol within a single point of the Warriors, if they score a try bonus point and Worcester come away with nothing.
The Warriors have only a single victory in the league themselves so far and haven't won away from home since a trip to Harlequins back in March.
And Jarvis says the squad will be fully focused on the task at hand on Monday, as they put any extra media attention on the fixture to one side.
"It's been billed up so we have to focus on the improvements we have seen and put in an 80-minute performance to back up the last couple of weeks," he said.
"We can't shy away from the importance of it but we are focused on what we need to do this week.
"If we look beyond that we will be distracted it's about momentum and preparing as well as we can.
"The guys are really looking forward to Monday especially after a couple of wins. It makes training more buoyant."
After a testing start to the new season, Jarvis is confident that Bristol’s performances have improved over recent weeks and the mood inside the camp has been uplifted as a result.
And following back-to-back wins over Pau in the European Challenge Cup, the flyhalf believes the Bristol squad have the perfect mindset ahead of the crunch clash.
"It;s been great in terms of the squad's morale and it’s our just rewards for the hard work of the last few months. It's fantastic and hopefully a momentum shift for us," he added.
"It's been really good for us the whole atmosphere has been shifted. We have started to get better results and play better, with more freedom.
"The squad has been building for a while we just needed to get the wins for the momentum."
