PREMIERSHIP REPORT: Exeter Chiefs carried their European form into Premiership action as they ran in five scores for a bonus-point triumph over Wasps.

Ben Moon set the tone early on, before Luke Cowan-Dickie, Tom O’Flaherty, Alec Hepburn and a penalty try buffed their advantage for what ultimately proved a comfortable win.

Moon opened the scoring inside five minutes when he went over from short range after the Chiefs had put the pressure on with a line-out deep in Wasps territory.

Jacob Umaga got the visitors on the board from the tee, before Gareth Steenson responded in-kind for Exeter.

A close-run game until half-time, it took until the 53rd minute for a change on the scoreboard, Cowan-Dickie benefitting from a big driving maul to touch down.

The Chiefs had their third minutes later, a penalty try awarded for repeated collapsed scrums, before the bonus point was wrapped up with 15 minutes to play when O’Flaherty danced through the Wasps defence for a brilliant individual score, Hepburn grabbing the fifth late on.
