Jones and Stooke's charges dismissed

The Wasps forward Stooke was charged with playing an opponent without the ball, contrary to law 10.4(f) while London Irish lock Jones was charged with punching or striking, contrary to law 10.4(a).

 

The incidents occurred in the second half of last weekend’s Premiership match between Wasps and London Irish and both players were subsequently cited before the Rugby Football Union

However, both charges were dismissed.

The three-person panel was chaired by Jeremy Summers and included Becky Essex and Martyn Wood.
