Samoa international signs for Saracens

TRANSFER NEWS: Hisa Sasagi has signed for Saracens on a short-term deal.

The 31-year-old prop arrives from New Zealand provincial side Otago and will provide cover in the front row.

Sasagi established himself as a regular starter in New Zealand’s National Provincial Championship in 2015, helping Otago reach the Championship semifinals before being selected as a member of the Hurricanes wider training group ahead of the 2016 Super Rugby season.

The Samoa international will remain at Allianz Park until the end of January 2019.
