Sharks retain try hungry duo
Sale Sharks have announced that both Mark Cueto and Tom Brady have signed new deals with the club.
Cueto, who is the club's longest-serving player and made his debut in 2001, has signed a one-year deal. He is currently the Premiership's leading try-scorer of all time with 84 tries.
On signing the deal Cueto said, "I am delighted to sign a new deal. I am really enjoying my rugby at the club and am looking forward to adding to my try tally. Dimes has assembled a great squad of players and I want to play my part to help the club do well.
Locally born Brady, who made his debut in the 2010-11 season, has signed a new two-year deal to stay at the club.
Cueto believes Brady can push on and one day overtakes his own record.
Brady said, "I'm delighted to have signed the new deal.
"Sale are a club I have grown up supporting, they are my local team and its something I've always wanted to be a part of.
"It's a great environment to be in so I'm delighted that I have been able to commit to the club for the next two years."
Director of Rugby Steve Diamond said, "I am delighted both Mark and Tom have agreed new deals. Mark can play centre, wing or fullback and is enjoying a new lease of life with the club.
"He continues to score tries and is a player the younger lads look up to and go to for advice. Tom is a local lad and playing the best rugby of his career now and I am sure he will represent the club for many years to come."
