Tight five boost for Bath
Bath lock Dave Attwood and tighthead prop David Wilson have both extended their contracts with the English Premiership club.
The two young English forwards have become mainstays in a Bath tight five that has shown remarkable consistency this season.
Wilson's form this season has seen him be named in every England matchday squad of this year's Six Nations, and Attwood's performances at the Rec must see him knocking on England's door once again.
Speaking of his extension, Attwood said: "I am very happy to have extended my contract with the club. The opportunity to be coached by this team in this environment means that I don't want to be anywhere else. We are on a journey, and we all believe that we will get to the top in time. I'm extremely excited to be a part of it."
Wilson added: "Bath has become home for me now and I love the Club. Everything a professional needs to excel is here – from coaching to facilities – and I feel very excited to be at a club that has so much support and ambition. I wouldn't be anywhere else."
Head Coach Gary Gold said: "These boys are the players around whom you can build a squad. They are young, English, talented and extremely tough. That they were both so keen to be involved in what we are working towards here at Bath is a real endorsement of the culture we are looking to create. We are very pleased to have retained their services."
