Wasps re-sign American ace

USA Eagles back Paul Emerick has re-joined London Wasps in time for the start of the 2012/13 season.

The 51-times capped international had a stint at the club last season. Joining on a short-term loan to cover injuries in February, and following US duty over the summer, he has now re-signed on a full-time basis.

Emerick impressed off the bench last season and secured a starting centre berth for a vital game against Gloucester only to succumb to injury and miss the season run-in.

Now fully fit, he will provide experienced cover at centre and wing.

He has previously represented Ulster, Parma and the Newport Gwent Dragons.
