One-week ban for Faosiliva

The Samoan was given a red card when he appeared to lead with his forearm in a challenge on lock Mariano Galarza in the second half of a 23-23 draw at Sixways.

The 30-year-old was charged with striking.

He pleaded guilty and will be free to play again on September 18.

"Alafoti Faosiliva of Worcester Warriors appeared before an RFU disciplinary panel charged with striking with the arm and/or elbow, contrary to law 10.4(a)," said RFU statement.

"Faosiliva pleaded guilty and was given a one-week ban.

"He is free to play again on the September 18,"

Faosiliva will miss Worcester's Premiership clash with his former club Bath on Saturday.

He left Bath last month to link up with Carl Hogg's men.
