'Quins move to fifth spot in Premiership
MATCH REPORT: Joe Marchant’s double inspired Harlequins to a 40-5 win over Exeter Chiefs at Twickenham that boosted the West London side’s hopes of securing a semi-final spot.
Quins were 26-0 up at half-time after a superb display in the opening 40 minutes that saw Cadan Murley, Josh Bassett, Sam Riley and Marchant all cross the whitewash.
Jack Innard got a try back for Chiefs after the break, but Marchant’s second and Stephan Lewies’ try from the back of a driving maul wrapped up the win for Quins.
The result leaves the hosts in fifth with a game in hand over fourth-place side Northampton Saints, while Chiefs are in seventh
