Biggar's collection of cards

Daniel Biggar, the Ospreys flyhalf was suspended for one week by a Pro12 disciplinary committee – after having accumulated three yellow cards in the competition to date.

The committee was chaired by Pat Barriscale, and also comprised of Philip Orr and George Spotswood (all Ireland).

Biggar can resume playing on Monday, April 30 and has the right of appeal.

However, the ban is meaningless, as Ospreys have no fixture this week.

Their next game is on Saturday, May 5, when they face Aironi in a Pro12 match in Italy.

Ospreys are currently second on the standings, 10 points behind leaders Leinster and five points ahead of another Irish province, Munster – with just one round of league action remaining before the play-offs.
