Cheetahs lose a few more to injury ahead of tour
SQUAD ANNOUNCEMENT: Cheetahs coach Franco Smith named a 25-man squad for their upcoming three-week trip to Ireland and Wales in the Pro14.
The Cheetahs will face Connacht (February 16), Scarlets (February 24) and Leinster (March 1) on their upcoming tour.
The Bloemfontein-side will be missing a number of players through injury.
Joseph Dweba (hamstring), Malcolm Jaer (knee) and Benhard Janse van Rensburg (concussion) all featured in the Cheetahs’ 40-36 win against the Southern Kings on February 2 but will not be available for the next three matches.
Other players currently injured includes – Oupa Mohoje (knee), Jamba Ulenga (neck) and Aidon Davis (broken leg).
The Cheetahs are currently sixth in Conference A with six wins and seven defeats from their 14 matches so far.
