CONFIRMED: Bok hooker signs for Sharks

TRANSFER NEWS: The Sharks have bolstered their squad with another big signing.

On Tuesday, the Durban side confirmed that they have signed Springbok hooker Bongi Mbonambi from the Stormers.

Over the last few months, it was widely reported that the 30-year-old would join Springbok captain Siya Kolisi in Durban.

Kolisi joined the Sharks in February after an 11-year journey with WP Rugby.

Mbonambi, who was also part of the Springboks’ 2019 World Cup-winning squad, has been with the Stormers since 2015.

Before that, he was with the Bulls between 2012 and 2014.
