Connacht scrutinising Muliaina case
Mils Muliaina faces an internal review from his Irish province Connacht, as he fights to clear his name of sexual assault allegations.
Muliaina, 34, was released on bail by South Wales Police over the weekend, having been arrested in Gloucester on Friday in relation to an alleged incident in Cardiff last month.
No charges were laid and the 100-Test veteran has returned to training with his Galway-based team while the investigation continues.
Muliaina, who has denied the allegations through his representatives, has reportedly been asked to return to Wales in July to help police further.
Connacht released a statement to acknowledge the arrest for the first time.
"He denies any wrong doing and will meet with Connacht officials in the coming days to review the situation internally," the statement said.
"As this remains a legal matter, Connacht can provide no further comment."
Muliaina suffered a groin injury during his team's loss to Gloucester, after which television cameras captured footage of him being led away by police from Kingsholm Stadium.

The club said he won't be fit to play for the next two to three weeks.
Connacht probably have only four games remaining in their season.
They are sixth in the Pro12 and are unlikely to qualify among the top-four teams to contest the semifinals in May.
Zebre, the Italian club who Muliaina has signed to play for next season, are last in the championship.
