Davids in talks with Southern Kings bosses
NEWS: The Southern Kings confirmed that they are in talks with head coach Deon Davids about his future.
Netwerk24 reported on Monday that Davids and 20 contracted players will be released as the consortium who owns a controlling stake in the franchise are in the process of a clean-out.
The report added that Sharks assistant coach Sean Everitt and Chean Roux are two candidates in the running to take over from Davids.
“We can confirm that the Southern Kings are in discussions with Deon Davids regarding his future options with the franchise,” said a statement from the franchise released on Tuesday.
“More details will be shared if an agreement has been reached between the parties.”
