Dell stays with Edinburgh
The 23-year-old put pen to paper to sign a two-year deal with Edinburgh, after initially signing in the 2014/15 season.
He has since made 18 appearances in the black and red, and recently scored his first points as he crossed the line against Ospreys at Liberty Stadium.
Dell qualifies to play for the Scotland through his grandmother.
"From the outset, there was no doubt in my mind that I wanted to stay at Edinburgh, as the club has done so much for me since I started here two years ago," said Dell.
"I'm getting good game time under my belt just now, and I want to keep giving everything for the team when I get the shot and play to the best of my ability.
"I've been working hard on my scrummaging, and it's a part of my game that Stevie [Scott] and Alan [Solomons] are really helping me with. Also having the chance to work with experienced guys like WP [Nel] and Dicko [Alasdair Dickinson] really helps to bring my game on.
"It's an exciting time to be at Edinburgh, as I feel we're definitely a club on the up, and I'm delighted to have signed a deal to play with the team for another two years."
Berghan, 25, signed for Edinburgh Rugby in 2014 and made his debut the same year against Cardiff Blues.
At the close of the 2014/15 season, he was rewarded a year extension on his contract which kept him in the capital until May 2016.
Simon Berghan, who has played 16 times for Edinburgh, is another player who commited his future to the team. He eligible to represent Scotland through his grandfather from Stirling.
The tighthead prop is the eighth forward and fifth front row to commit to the capital club joining Dell, Neil Cochrane, Alasdair Dickinson and Stuart McInally in penning new deals.
"I'm looking forward to another season at the club, and building on what the team achieved this year, and I'm also looking to build on what I've achieved personally," said Berghan.
"I've been working hard, especially on my set-piece as it's a huge area of the game, and hope that by continuing to develop in this area I can keep pushing to become a regular in the 23-man matchday squad.
"The coaches have been great, and Stevie has been the cornerstone of our success. Both his and Alan's knowledge has really helped me, and I feel they've built a pack with a big reputation over the years, one that I'm delighted to continue working with and amongst.”
Head Coach Alan Solomons said: "Allan is a very talented young player who, I have no doubt, will make his mark in Scottish rugby.
"He fits our vision for the club and I am pleased to see him continue his development with us.
"I am pleased that Berghie [Berghan] has committed to the club.
"He has worked hard and made good progress since his arrival here two seasons ago and is now starting to establish himself in the team.
"He is a great bloke, a good team man and a pleasure to coach."
