Lions' Bok heads to Pro14 side

TRANSFER NEWS: Springboks and Lions lock Marvin Orie is set to join Welsh PRO14 side Ospreys.

The Lions revealed via their official Twitter account that Orie will join Ospreys as a “medical joker”.before returning in time for the team’s Super Rugby preparations.

Orie, who joined the Lions in 2017 from the Blue Bulls, has played three Tests for the Springboks.

Earlier this month, the Lions confirmed that they have parted ways with long-standing coach Swys de Bruin.

The 59-year-old mentor has joined Southern Kings as a coaching ‘consultant’.
