Pienaar injured...again

Springbok and Ulster scrumhalf, Ruan Pienaar is back on the injured list after he twisted his knee on Saturday.

Pienaar returned to the game after picking up a knee injury in the Springboks’ Test against New Zealand in Wellington in September and had previously stated he was eyeing a comeback in early December.

He managed to meet that deadline but has now been thrown back onto the physio's table during Ulster's 20-31 defeat to Ospreys in Wales.

Fortunately for him, a scan on Monday revealed no significant damage and his progress will continue to be monitored, however he is expected to resume training this week.
