Pro12: More to come from Ospreys

As Round Four of the Pro12 competition approaches only three teams still maintain a 100 percent winning record.

Two of those, Glasgow Warriors and Connacht, go head-to-head on Friday.

Glasgow have built up a formidable home record at Scotstoun, and even though Connacht defeated Edinburgh on their last trip to Scotland, they will find it harder against last season's finalists, Warriors.

Edinburgh themselves are in action Friday, but this time against Welsh opponents, Scarlets, whilst in Dublin Leinster also welcome Welsh opposition, Cardiff Blues.

Both hosts have won only one of their three games so far this campaign, so must be hoping home advantage will work in their favour this weekend.

League leaders Ospreys, the only other side with a 100 percent winning record, will be pushed to maintain that when they travel to Munster on Saturday for what is, arguably, the game of the round.

Elsewhere on Saturday Ulster face Zebre in Parma, Italy.

Thanks to an opening day 32-all draw with Scarlets, Ulster remain unbeaten in the Pro12 this season, and with the two teams directly above them facing each other, could see this as an opportunity to climb up the table.

The round wraps up in Newport on Sunday when Benetton Treviso are the visitors at Rodney Parade.

The last four games between Newport Gwent Dragons and Benetton Treviso have been won by the home side on the day, so Dragons fans must be hoping that is a good omen.

Despite romping to a nine-try win over Edinburgh last Sunday, Ospreys scrumhalf Rhys Webb believes his team still have much to work on.

The Welsh region, top the Pro12 table, after their 62-13 triumph at the Liberty Stadium maintained their 100 percent winning start to the season.

Webb touched down twice, while there were tries too for Jonathan Spratt, Dan Baker, Dan Biggar, Hanno Dirksen, Tom Grabham, Tyler Aldron and Jeff Hassler.

Yet, keen not to rest on their laurels, Webb wants Ospreys to up their game further if they are to mount a successful title challenge for the first time since 2012.

"It was an impressive performance, but we still have a lot to work on," said the 25-year-old.

"We could have been more clinical on a couple of occasions, our exit strategies were sloppy and we conceded a silly try.

"It will be a much tougher test against Munster [on Saturday]. There is no reason why we can't go there and get the win but we need to be clinical."

Webb opened the scoring in Swansea, gathering the ball on the halfway line before piercing through the Edinburgh defence and touching down under the posts.

He later added a second to take his try tally for the season to four – already eclipsing the number scored in each of the last two seasons.

"It's the best try I have scored," added the Wales international, of his second-minute try.

"But, hopefully, there's more to come.

"It was a great start for me. I just thought I should pin my ears back and go.

"I did not have any support, so there was just one way I was going and that was over the try line."
