Stowers free to play
Ospreys loose forward George Stowers was cleared of foul play at a disciplinary hearing in Dublin on Wednesday.
The Samoan international had been cited for alleged foul play in the Pro12 match between Scarlets and the Ospreys at Parc y Scarlets last Friday.
The independent Pro12 disciplinary committee chaired by David Hurley and assisted by George Spotswood and Pat Barriscale (all Ireland), accepted the player’s explanation that he was attempting to dislodge the ball from the Scarlets player.
