Stowers struck with citing

Ospreys wing George Stowers has been cited for foul play in his team's clash with the Scarlets on Friday.

The incident for which Stowers has been cited took place in the 22ndminute of the match at Parc y Scarlets.

Law 10.4 deals with Dangerous Play & Misconduct and 10.4 (a) states "A player must not strike an opponent with the fist or arm, including the elbow, shoulder, head or knee(s)."

The hearing, before an independent Disciplinary Committee, will take place later in the week, with time and venue to be confirmed.
