Scotland star Jonny Gray looks set to be the next big name to head for the exit door.

According to reports on several UK websites, Gray is to leave the Warriors at the end of the season, with Exeter Chiefs his likely destination.

The Warriors, who have lost Finn Russell, Josh Strauss and Hogg, among other key players, in recent seasons, are expected to embark on a major recruitment drive for next season – when Danny Wilson will take over as head coach from Australia-bound Dave Rennie.

They have already agreed to a deal to bring back Fijian lock Leone Nakarawa on a short-term contract until the end of the season.

Gray’s contract expires at the end of the current campaign.

Warriors are also thought to have been in talks with Richie Gray – Jonny’s elder brother – about a return to Scotland from France, where he’s been playing for a Toulouse.
