Winless Kings lose their coach
The Kings left at the weekend – for a trip that will see them take on Ulster, Ospreys and Leinster in successive weekends – without coach Deon Davids.
The Port Elizabeth-based franchise confirmed that Davids has been unable to travel with the team due to medical reasons.
The statement did not specify what his medical condition is.
In Davids' absence, Barend Pieterse will take over the coaching reins.
Davids may join up with the squad at a later date.
The winless Kings face Ulster this Friday, followed by clashes against the Ospreys (the following Friday) and Leinster a week later.
