Jones eyes Six Nations return

Wales lock Alun-Wyn Jones says he is on course to feature in Wales' Six Nations campaign after undergoing shoulder surgery two months ago.

The 67-cap Ospreys tight forward damaged his shoulder in Wales' opening end-of-year Test series match against Argentina in Cardiff and has not played since.

However, he hopes to return to action in late-February, meaning he could play a part in Wales' final two Six Nations games against Scotland and England.

"Rehab is going well," Jones said.

"I am on track, so I've just got to put the hard work in now. I am in good hands with the Ospreys medical and conditioning teams and I know that they will look after me.

"I am itching to get back involved, but when exactly that will be is down to how the next few weeks go."

Wales begin their Six Nations campaign against Ireland on February 2.
