Midfileld blow for Scotland

Edinburgh centre Nick De Luca looks set to miss Scotland's Six Nations campaign after his club revealed on Friday that he needs to undergo surgery to repair a fractured eye socket.

De Luca, who has made 38 international appearances, sustained the injury while training with Edinburgh last month and could be out for up to two months.

"Edinburgh Rugby confirmed today that Nick De Luca will be unavailable for selection for around two months, following an operation to a fractured eye socket," read a club statement.

Scotland kick off the Six Nations against England at Twickenham on February 2 and the tournament runs until March 16.
