Vanzati relishes Reds challenge

The 21-year-old spent three years with the South Magpies and his amazing showing in 2015 has landed him a preseason training spot in the Super Rugby franchise set-up.

The Reds are currently busy with off-site training which include rowing and rock climbing.

"It is a first for me, I've never been rock climbing before it was challenging but I enjoy it to try something new.

"Each training is different you never know what to expect. We do a whole bunch of different stuff like beach training  and now rock climbing, we really mixing it up," he said.

Vanzati admits that the preseason will be tough but is ambitious he will get an opportunity to debut for the side.

"We know that the preseason ahead would be tough, but I think we would be better for it.

"My goal is to debut for the Reds and after preseason I hope to be a better athlete and better rugby player,"
