Crusaders set sail with heavy artillery

The Crusaders kicked off their South African leg on a high after Robertson's side claimed a 57-24 win against the Stormers in Christchurch on Saturday.

They mounted an eight-try stampede to remain unbeaten after eight matches and retain the top spot on the log.

The Crusaders are currently the only unbeaten side left in this year's Super Rugby tournament.

Missing the tour to South Africa are All Black star Isreal Dagg and Wallabies wing Digby Ioane.

Dagg is set to be out for a substantial period of the Super Rugby season after he suffered a PCL and lateral meniscal injury in March.

Ioane sustained a minor hand injury during their 22-20 win over the Reds in Round Three.

The Crusaders will face the Cheetahs in Bloemfontein next Saturday (April 29), and the Bulls in Pretoria (May 6).
