Adongo's big move confirmed

The Bulls confirmed on Wednesday that Kenyan-born player Daniel Adongo has been released from his contract and that he would be taking up an offer in New Zealand.

"Daniel will be leaving the Bulls, following negotiations with a New Zealand-based team that is interested in his services," Barend van Graan, CEO of the Blue Bulls Company (Pty) Ltd, said.

Adongo has reportedly signed with New Zealand side Counties Manukau and will turn out for them in their domestic competition, the NPC.

The 23-year-old utility forward played for Tukkies in the Varsity Cup and the Blue Bulls team in the Vodacom Cup earlier in the season.

Meanwhile, the BBC also confirmed the release of Wynand Olivier (Japan) and Gerrit-Jan van Velze (England) in the coming weeks.
