Aussie prodigy heads to Crusaders

Australian schoolboy lock Nick Frost's three-year development contact made sure he became the youngest Australian to be signed to the Crusaders.

According to Foxsports, Frost has spurned interest from the Waratahs, however, the son of current ARU staffer Steve Frost has opted to jump ship across the Tasman and sign with the Super Rugby champion Crusaders

He will join fellow Australians Digby Ioane, Mike Alaalatoa and Pete Samu at the powerhouse Christchurch franchise at the end of the year after completing his studies.

Frost’s decision comes hard on the heels of another 2017 Aussie Schools star, Charlie Rorke, turning his back on rugby and signing a two-year rookie contract with the NRL’s Canberra Raiders.
