Brumbies go unchanged to Sydney

The Brumbies have named an unchanged team to face the Waratahs this weekend in Sydney after the side came through its clash with the Force unscathed.

After starting the season with just 396 caps combined, the Brumbies will carry and extra 213 games under their belts with head coach Jake White enjoying the luxury of continuity for the majority of the season.

The Brumbies will take the field with 609 caps, still 459 short of their opponents the Waratahs who boast 1068 for Saturday's clash.

Jake White said his side had prepared well through the week and was now ready to take on the Waratahs on their home turf.

"At this stage there's still a lot of rugby left for us, potentially we still have four games to play so in that regard it's great to have been able to keep the same team together," he said.

"To be fair to those boys they had a very strong first half last Saturday.

"They've got 11 Wallabies and they are a formidable opponent. Even though they've made some changed to their halves, they still have Wallabies on the bench and will pose a massive challenge for us.

"We've got to focus on executing well, doing the things we've done well all year both defensively and in attack and things should take care of themselves."

Sydney has traditionally been a tough place for the Brumbies to travel having never won at ANZ Stadium and only claimed one win in Sydney back in 2002, walking away as 51-10 victors in the semifinal.

Since then the Brumbies have lost five straight in Sydney including the 2004 season when the ACT based side went on to claim the title.

Brumbies: 15 Robbie Coleman, 14 Henry Speight, 13 Andrew Smith, 12 Pat McCabe, 11 Jesse Mogg, 10 Zack Holmes, 9 Nic White, 8 Ben Mowen (captain), 7 Michael Hooper, 6 Peter Kimlin, 5 Sam Carter, 4 Scott Fardy, 3 Dan Palmer, 2 Stephen Moore, 1 Ben Alexander.

Replacements: 16 Anthony Hegarty, 17 Ruaidhri Murphy, 18 Leon Power, 19 Ita Vaea, 20 Ian Prior, 21 Tevita Kuridrani, 22 Cam Crawford.
