Brüssow unleashed on Crusaders
Heinrich Brüssow will get an opportunity to put his breakdown skills on display when the Cheetahs face the Crusaders in Christchurch on Saturday.
Brüssow will start on the flank for the Cheetahs for the first time this season, as the men from Bloemfontein get their Australasian tour underway.
Having missed the Cheetahs' first three matches, while he recovered from concussion symptoms after taking one too many head-knock in Japan, Brüssow made his debut off the bench for the Cheetahs in their 10-27 loss to the Sharks last Saturday – where he played 30 minutes.
His inclusion in the starting XV for this Saturday is one of four changes to the Cheetahs line-up for the Round Six encounter.
Brüssow replaces Johannes Prinsloo in the starting XV, with the latter dropping down to the replacement bench.
The Cheetahs will also feature a new halfback combination – Joe Pietersen (No.10) and Tian Meyer (No.9) starting ahead of Willie du Plessis and Sarel Pretorius respectively.
The final change to the starting XV sees Clayton Blommetjies on the right wing in place of Springbok Cornal Hendricks.
Du Plessis drops down to the bench, but Pretorius and Hendricks miss out on the matchday 23 altogether.
