Bulls add two more to casualty ward
INJURY UPDATE: The Bulls’ campaign just took another blow with two players joining the ever-growing injury list.
Lock Juandré Kruger sustained a concussion during the 0-13 defeat to the Stormers. The 34-year-old is following his return to play protocols and is expected to be fit for training next week.
Fortunately for Pote Human, the Bulls have a bye this weekend before hosting the Blues on Saturday, February 22.
Meanwhile, hooker Johan Grobbelaar underwent scans after complained of a tender ankle during the post-match medical. Grobbelaar could be sidelined for up to six weeks depending on the results of the scan.
In other injury news, BlitzBok Dylan Sage had a ‘successful surgery’ for his ankle fracture and will be sidelined for three to four months.
Simphiwe Matanzima (AC joint) and Louis van der Westhuizen (ankle) are expected to make full recoveries in the next two to three weeks.
Good news for the Bulls is Marco van Staden has fully recovered from his concussion and will be back into full training on Thursday.
While, Tim Agaba will take part in selected training sessions as of Thursday.
