VIDEO: Bulls reveal the cost of Aussie outing
INJURY UPDATE: The Bulls have paid a dear price for their one-match tour to Australia.
The Bulls, back from Australia where they suffered a humiliating 17-41 loss to the Reds in Brisbane, are currently in self-isolation as part of the preventive measures against COVID-19.
Not only did they suffered the debasement of coughing up a 17-0 lead, they also suffered a number of injuries.
Captain Burger Odendaal (ankle) and veteran Cornal Hendricks (knee) suffered injuries in the final pre-match training session in Brisbane and returned to South Africa.
They are both expected to be on the sidelines for at least four weeks.
Both will undergo scans to determine the exact nature of their injuries.
Lizo Gqoboka and Josh Strauss both sustained concussions against the Reds, but are coming through their Return to Play protocols nicely.
Meanwhile, Muller Uys injured his AC joint.
Due to self-isolation protocols, scans on the injured players had to be delayed until their tests for the virus have been revealed by the medical staff.
