Bulls sweat over captain
INJURY UPDATE: The Bulls have one new injury concern after their narrow defeat to the Blues at Loftus Versfeld in Round Four of Super Rugby.
Captain and centre Burger Odendaal complained of a sore ankle during the team’s post-match medical.
He went for scans which revealed that “he does have bruising of his ligaments with a call regarding his availability to be made later this week”.
The Bulls went down 21-23 to the Blues after a late penalty by flyhalf Otere Black.
Pote Human’s team are sitting at the bottom of the South African Conference with three defeats from their three games so far.
Their next game is against the Jaguares in Pretoria, who are coming off a 7-17 defeat to the Stormers in Cape Town in Round Four.
The Jaguares are third in the South African Conference with two wins from their four games.
