Bulls to lose Bok lock early?

The Bulls could be without France-bound lock Juandré Kruger at the business end of the Super Rugby season.

The line-out kingpin’s contract with Racing Metro starts on July 1 and while he has been cleared to play for the Springboks if selected, the chances of him being available for the Bulls’ last three regular season games and the play-offs – should they qualify – appear slim.

Bulls coach Frans Ludeke, however, believes they will be able to agree a deal with the French club.

“We are in negotiations and we are confident we can come to an agreement as he is an important player to us,” Ludeke told supersport.com

The Bulls, who are third on the log and leading the South African Conference, play host to the Hurricanes at Loftus Versfeld on Saturday.
