'Canes missing All Black duo
The Hurricanes will be without All Blacks Cory Jane and Victor Vito when they take on the Crusaders in Christchurch this weekend.
Vito is still battling with his knee injury and has been replaced at No.8 by Brad Shields whilst Jane's ankle is not yet fully recovered so Alapati Leiua keeps his place on the right wing.
With scrumhalf TJ Perenara sidelined with a broken ankle Chris Eaton comes in to partner flyhalf Beauden Barrett in an otherwise unchanged backline.
In the forward pack Jack Lam has been bracketed with Karl Lowe as he may not overcome a hamstring time in time to take his place in the starting line-up.
The Crusaders have also been hit by injuries to key players, and with a bye coming up next week the Hurricanes are likely to try and take the game to the hosts in Christchurch.
