Cheetahs get back Brussow, Sadie

The Cheetahs will welcome back their Japanese based duo of Heinrich Brussow and Johan Sadie after their team was knocked out of the Wildcard tournament at the weekend.

The Cheetahs men play for the Red Hurricanes who were part of the Wildcard tournament due to the fact that they finished between fifth and 12th in the Top League.

The Red Hurricanes went down to the Green Rockets 10-33 and for Crusaders fans this means their Fijian wing Nemani Nadolo will advance with the Rockets to the next stage.

Another South African that will not be returning just yet is Springbok Schalk Burger whose team, Suntory Sungoliath, toppled the Black Rams 42-12.

Finally, there is more good news for Sharks fans as Springbok JP Pietersen's race is run in Japan for this season with the wing lifting the trophy for the Wild Knights with a 30-12 win over Júbilo.

“It means an awful lot,” Wild Knights coach Robbie Deans said immediately after the final whistle.

“The players have worked hard and are good friends and that's what it took today.

"Júbilo asked a lot of us and every man was used and every man was needed. I am very proud of them.”
