Clean bill of health for Sharks
The Durban-based team currently top Africa Conference Two after recording three wins in a row and are one of only two unbeaten teams left in this year's competition – the other being the Brumbies.
The clean bill of health will be a boost to the Sharks as the Bulls will be another physical challenge in Pretoria.
Meanwhile, Sharks Director of Rugby Gary Gold praised his team for the way they stepped up against the Stormers.
"Everyone played their part, we knew against such a good Stormers' team that we were really going to have to work hard in the set piece to at least get some form of parity," Gold told sharksrugby.co.za.
"I'm really proud of the way the guys stepped up to the plate; they knew what was coming, they worked hard this week and the Stormers didn’t disappoint, that's for sure.
"They are a great team, they play a great brand of rugby and they ask a lot of questions; Newlands is a very difficult place to come and get a result at.
"Going into half-time behind was a real concern for us, we needed to play smarter, to play in the right areas of the field and we needed to execute better. We did struggle in the second half and there is a lot for us to work on."
Gold was particularly pleased with his team's defensive effort.
"We had to defend against wave after wave of Stormers attack, we had to defend substantially more than them, and the guys worked incredibly hard from a defensive point of view, showed a lot of character which I am obviously very proud of the guys for," Gold added.
