Crusaders star's injury woes continues
INJURY UPDATE: All Black and Crusaders prop Owen Franks is set to be sidelined for another month.
According to Stuff, Crusaders assistant Jason Ryan revealed that the 106-test All Black veteran had a small muscle-tear in his right-shoulder.
The good news is that the 31-year-old doesn’t need surgery, however the injury will see him miss the Crusaders’ games against the Sharks, Bulls, Stormers and Blues.

Franks, who is scheduled to return against the Chiefs in Fiji on June 1, has been out of action since April 6 when he sustained a shoulder injury during the clash with the Brumbies in Round eight.
“The good thing is it doesn’t require surgery, so it will be a good rehab process,” Ryan told reporters.
“It’s obviously a relief for everyone. It was touch and go there for a bit. Get him back in a month, all going well. He’s got a good rehab plan for the next four weeks, and all going well that’s when he will return to play.”
Meanwhile, captain Sam Whitelock and midfielder Ryan Crotty, who passed a Head Injury Assessment during the Lions win – will take their All Blacks rest weeks and won’t play against the Sharks.
