Dane Coles - The try celebration replicator

The world was in stitches after the Hurricanes’ Dane Coles pulled the Blues’ Beauden Barrett into a try celebration but this wasn’t the first time this type of celebration has happened – just ask Aaron Cruden.

Back in 2016, Daniel Pryor rounded off a sensational team try against the Chiefs. As his teammates rushed to celebrate, Aaron Cruden got himself caught in the middle of it all, albeit with a little assistance from Elliot Dixon, who grabbed the Chiefs flyhalf and held him in the middle of a Highlanders sandwich.

Roll forward a few years in the opening round of Super Rugby Aotearoa and Dane Coles did the same thing to former teammate Beauden Barrett.
