Four Hurricane rookies v Sharks
Four players are set to make their first starts for the Hurricanes, against the Sharks in Durban this weekend.
Two Hurricanes will be hunting for their first Super Rugby caps off the bench.
New recruits Mark Abbott, Hadleigh Parkes and Marty Banks have been named in the Hurricanes' starting XV.
Parkes, who played 13 games for the Blues in 2012 and another seven for the Southern Kings last year, will make his first competition appearance for the Canes after a few pre-season outings.
Blade Thomson, who already has one Super Rugby cap, will be given his first start.
Abbott made his senior debut for Hawke's Bay during the 2013 NPC and made 11 starting appearances at the Magpies.
In 2013 Banks featured in the Crusaders' development team, as well as being included in Tasman's extended training squad. Banks was later called into the squad and made his NPC debut against Counties Manukau.
