Griquas keep their winning formula
TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT: The Griquas have made minor changes to their starting XV for their Preparations Series match against the Pumas.
The Griquas have made only three changes to their starting line-up following their 43-0 win over the EP Elephants.
The win was the Griquas’ first victory since South Africa returned to action in the post-COVID domestic season.
The Kimberley side has an opportunity to record their second win when they face Pumas.
In the backline, former Brumbies back James Verity-Amm returns to the starting XV. The wing replaces Enver Brandt, who moves to the bench.
There are two changes in the forwards.
Andr Smith replaces Ewan Coetzee at lock. The 23-year-old will partner with Cameron Lindsay as the new second row partnership.
While in the front row Andries Schutte takes the place of Tijde Visser at tight head prop.
