Highlanders get Naholo back

Naholo is available for selection after getting injured in his team's Round Three clash against the Blues on March 11.

Flyhalf, Lima Sopoago, who also got injured in that Round Three clash, is still a few weeks away from making his return to the rugby field.

Sopoaga is likely to be considered for selection in about two weeks.

Meanwhile, Highlanders assistant coach Scott McLeod believes his team is ready to tackle the fast-paced Sunwolves after enjoying a bye in Round Eight.

"What we have identified with those boys is that they play probably the quickest game in the competition, so we need to get our contact right with them and not give them the space and time to be able to play and control that," McLeod told stuff.co.nz.

The Highlanders are currently fourth in the New Zealand Conference after four wins from their seven games.

In other news, loose forward Liam Squire has re-signed for two more years with the Highlanders and New Zealand rugby.

The Highlanders confirmed the news with a tweet on Tuesday. Squire has eight Test caps for New Zealand.
