Highlanders lose a midfielder ahead of Stormers clash

INJURY UPDATE: The Highlanders have lost the services of one of their players after their Super Rugby Round 14 match against the Lions.

Centre Teihorangi Walden will miss his team’s clash against the Stormers at Newlands this weekend following a concussion sustained during Saturday’s match in Johannesburg.

The 25-year-old has returned to New Zealand.

Flyhalf Marty Banks has been called up to the squad and will join the team in Cape Town on Tuesday.

The Highlanders went down 29-38 to the Lions.

The Stormers are coming off a 19-all draw with the Crusaders.
