Jaguares keep their young guns
Among those who signed up until 2019 are Matías Alemanno, Emiliano Boffelli, Santiago Garcia Botta, Marcos Kremer, Pablo Matera and Guido Petti.
"It is a great joy for us to have these talented and young players in the team for the next three seasons," Jaguares board spokesman Fernando Rizzi said.
"It is very important that we continue developing our players in Super Rugby in a professional way," he added.
Matera said he was looking forward to the next three years and was hoping they would improve on last year's disappointing performances.
"We are learning a lot and there is a lot to learn from this type of competition," Matera said, adding: "That is why I want to stay until the World Cup.
"Going to Japan 2019 is also a huge incentive for a player. "
Marcos Kremer said it is "spectacular" to be part of the Jaguares franchise.
"I am just 19 and want to continue growing with the team. Between Super Rugby and Los Pumas [Argentina] you play against the best. My long-term goal is [to play at] the [2019] World Cup. That is what motivated me to stay."
Petti said he has had offers from abroad, but decided to "back the system" to make Jaguares a better team.
Botta described it as "very important" decision to sign on for three years.
"I believe in this project," he said, adding: "We want to continue growing as players and of course, continue with the chance to play for Los Pumas."
Matias Alemanno also admitted he had "many offers" from abroad and said it was difficult decision.
"However, I want to play for Los and that topped the scale, at least in my case, to stay," he added.
Boffelli said that his dream has always been to play for Argentina.
"I want to wear the Pumas jersey and that's why I decided that the best thing, at my age, is to continue with the Jaguares so I can play at the World Cup in Japan."
