Lions coach Johann Ackermann has shifted Elton Jantjies back to flyhalf, after playing at centre against the Rebels last weekend – for their match against the Reds in Brisbane on Friday.
Harold Vorster takes Jantjies' spot at centre, as Marnitz Boshoff slips to the bench, while Andries Coetzee starts at fullback.
Ross Cronje comes back in at scrumhalf to partner Jantjies at halfback, with Francois de Klerk reverting to the bench.
Sampie Mastriet shifts to left wing, making way for Ruan Combrinck – who starts at right wing.
In the forwards Ackermann made just one change for the game, with Robbie Coetzee starting at hooker.
