Le Roux out of Cheetahs clash
Le Roux injured his AC joint in his shoulder and will not be available for selection. He missed his team's clash with Lions at the weekend because of suspension.
Centre Paul Jordaan is also set to miss the clash and could possible out for the rest of the Super Rugby season after injuring his knee 10-37 loss to the Lions.
Sharks Director of Rugby Gary Gold said Jordaan "took a bad knock" at the post match press conference on Saturday. Jordaan was set to go for scans on Monday to determine the full extent of the injury.
The midfield could be a problem area for the Sharks in the coming weeks as it was also learnt that Andre Esterhuizen will be out of action for the next two weeks with a hamstring strain.
Esterhuizen picked up the injury in the lead up to the Sharks match with the Lions at the weekend.
Flyhalf and team captain Patrick Lambie will be reassessed this week after battling with concussion for the last few weeks. A decision on his availability for this weekend's clash will be made later this week.
Meanwhile, Daniel du Preez and Francois Kleinhans are both on track with their recovery from their respective injuries.
Du Preez is recovering from a groin tear and could be available for selection from next week. Kleinhans is recovering from a shoulder injury and is only expected to return in two to three weeks' time.
