The Johannesburg side confirmed on Saturday that loose forward Vincent Tshituka will play no further part in the Lions’ tour

Tshituka sustained a grade three sprained ankle (syndesmosis injury) and will return to South Africa for further treatment.

The Lions are still to reveal a possible replacement for the 21-year-old.

They started their Australasian tour with a 17-29 defeat to the Waratahs on Friday.

The Lions next face the Melbourne Rebels in Melbourne before matches against the Blues and Highlanders in New Zealand.
